Habitation Checks – Protect Your Warranty & Your Pride and Joy
 
To maintain your manufacturer’s warranty and keep your RV in top condition, a regular habitation check is required.
We offer this service in line with manufacturer requirements, working alongside all major NZ dealerships (All brands covered)
 
For your convenience, inspections can be completed on site. All reports are forwarded directly to the manufacturer to ensure warranty compliance. We thoroughly inspect the key components of your RV to help prevent future issues before they become costly problems.
 
What’s Included in a Habitation Check
Exterior & Structure
Inspect roof for leaks, seal condition, and general integrity
Replace any seals where required
Inspect all roof vents and roof-mounted accessories
Inspect all windows, doors, and locker doors
Inspect underneath the RV for Integrity, leaks, loose components, wiring, plumbing, or accessories
Lubrication & Mechanical
Lubricate all external locks, awnings, and door rubbers
Lubricate internal flyscreens and blinds
Interior & Electrical
Check internal cabinetry for alignment and correct latching
Check and test the charging system
Test all lighting circuits and fixtures
Test TV/Satellite system
Test any Accessories fitted
Appliances & Plumbing
Test all appliances for correct operation (including fridge, heater, etc.)
Inspect plumbing systems to ensure proper function
Water Ingress & Reporting
Complete a full water ingress inspection
Photograph and document any faults identified
Discuss findings with the client
Send the full report to the manufacturer
